July is a great time of year to summer fertilize and now that we deep cleaned the laundry room, this is a great month to target the outside dryer vent. Take that shop vac and suck out the lint from the outside of the house.. This month is also the month I deep clean the guest/kids's bathroom.

I still stay on top of my weekly cleaning schedule as well. I think everyone does that a little differently. When I was busy with a kid filled house. I would take bite size chunks and do a room a day. But now that it is just me and half my house doesn't get used unless I have company my weekly cleaning probably looks a lot different from yours. I still hit each used room and do a weekly reset, as I call it. I clean my used bathroom, dust, clean wipe the whole kitchen down good. Vacuum and mop. And Once a month I do a dusting and vacuum of the unused rooms. Oh and I make sure I flush the unused toilet and do a clean swish every couple of weeks as well. I love the feel of the house after my weekly reset. Nothing feels better.

But take a rainy/yucky day and work on that bathroom. Purge any old towels, that gross shower curtain liner and freshen up that room to make it feel fun and new! The Dollar Tree is always a great place for organization bins and containers for cheap. Below is my check list I use to make sure I hit all the areas. You will find cleaning supplies and tool in my Benable and Amazon Storefront

This is my spare bathroom and was my son's bathroom when he lived at home. It has a very large closet in it that has become a catch all for anything I don't know what to do with. So my goal is to purge and get it organized.

And now my huge closet looks very empty. But the guest bathroom is scrubbed and cleaned. I will now maintain the bathroom by monthly cleaning and weekly toilet cleaning, because it doesn't get used at all.
