September's Ipsy Order
Updated: 6 days ago

September's Ipsy Order didn't disappoint once again. The bag was of course my favorite. There were some great products this month. I noticed this month focused more on make-up versus cosmetics as was in the previous months. But I definately found some new products that I will be adding to my cart and my make-up routine.
My Favorite was the Mile High Club Mascara in espresso color. I typically get my mascara in black. So this was a change for me. But a change that I definately liked. The wand on this mascara was wonderful and created such a a lengthening effect that I instantly fell in love. the tube to this mascara was equally as unique. I will be keeping my eye open for this mascara on my next trip for sure.
The next product was another one that surprised me as well. The Porefessional PorePrimer. I'm so used to my primer being sticky in order to do its job. However, this product held its staying power in a different way. A silky way. There wasn't any stickiness. It was silky smooth. It make your pores practically disappear so your products wouldn't get sucked into your pores. This was another fantastic product.
Maeve Ellis's Pink Lemonade Hand Cream was another great product. I always love a great purse hand cream. This time of the year, I needed to replenish mine. This made the perfect fit. This hand cream was a perfect texture - Not too thick and not thin. and the fragrance was wonderful. It wasn't over powering.
Lithe's Peony Lipstick was a great lipstick. However, I wasn't in love with the color. The creaminess and the smell of the lipstick was perfect. So I would love to try some of the other colors. It almost seemed to change colors after applying. It took on a little orange hue after a little time. So, the product is a good product, just not the color for me.
And lastly, the Neen Side Eye Liner. this is also another product that I feel was a me issue. I love my liquid eye liners. I tried to love this product but I just couldn't get used to the pencil texture and applying it. The color and the softness of the pencil was perfect. So if you are a pencil girl when it comes to your eye liner - this might be your product.
It was another great month of Ipsy!! Have you tried Ipsy? I've been really enjoying it. I love being able to try new products that I typically wouldn't try. I usually stay within my routine of what I've used for years. So this helps me see what new products are out there. What are your thoughts? Do you like these kind of subscriptions?? Do you like trying new things like this??
